Layering 2 sealants

I am curious if it would be okay to layer two different sealants. I really enjoy the slick wet look of megs 21 but also am partial to the deep very “clean look it get with poorboys Ex-p. I find them to be two very nice products but have very different look in the end.

My plan is to lay down a coat of ex-p wait over night and then apply the 21. Anyone ever do this, of have any troubles with bonding ect.

Personally, I think it might look great on my red. Any though or opinions would be appreciated.

It would seem that some sealants will layer just fine and others might not. You can only know (or think you know) by trying it and seeing for yourself- be objective though, it's real easy to convince yourself that an idea worked, when it really didn't.

The question is always whether it really layered or removed the previous layer? Did it possitively or negatively affect appearance and durability?

Zaino sealants can be layered. Any sealant with abrasives or cleaners can't be layered. Some waxes can be layered according to manufacturers.

Certainly worth a shot. I've layered wax on top of EX with good results. If you have any, it might be worth substituting EX-P for EX.

I thinking that it would be wise to apply the m21 first first since it has some cleaners in it, then a thin coat of ex-p. A friend told me he layerd ex-p and it work well. Any thoughts to this logic ???

My apologies I read "EX" instead of "EX-P" in your original post. After reading up more on Meg's #21, I'd probably only layer a wax on top of it.
