I tried the green Sam's towels and they work for general purpose towel, but mine really bled when I washed them. Wash them seperately the first few times or everything will be green. Good deal for the money, though.
Someone posted these awhile back.

Pretty good deal for the money, but the green ones also bleed in the wash a little.
Good luck,
Randy

no it won't effect performance if the color bleeds . . . . . but i wouldn't want all my towels looking like tie die . . . . . especially since we are in the detail business it is important to try and look professional hehehehe.

Does anyone have experience with the Viking 12 packs at K-Mart (mixed orange, green and blue)? They are on sale for $6 this week..

Re: Deals on microfiber towels
I was at Target today and they had some clearance towels. The big yellow drying one, the gray and green ones were marked down. YMMV

Re: Deals on microfiber towels
I'm not a big fan of Chemical Guys' products except for a few standouts, but their microfibers are great quality & price.
Especially these:
microfiber, microfiber towels, car care products, auto detailing, house cleaning, micro-restore, micro restore, df towels, microfiber
I have an arsenal of these...they're short nap on one side and thick on the other. Great for quick detailers and removing waxes/polishes.
Microfibers aren't something I'd skimp too much on...these are the cheapest ones I'd use on my car. Saving another 20 cents per towel isn't much in the grand scheme of things compared to quality.

Good GP towels, but I was not impressed for QD App and buffing. I am going to get another pack soon and they work great for door frames, etc.
While not an OTC towel, I got 10 of these for .99 from ADS when I ordered some #105. These seem to be very nice - plush too, and are a nice size. These have become my Go To towel for buffing.
