Re: Ultimate Detailing Machine XP by Porter Cable for under $100

I own a makita and a dewalt rotary. Do I still need one of these? I've seen serious paint correction with this thing but is it faster? you know with the surbuf pads then using my rotary? Should I get one a pcxp?

At this price, why not?

I got this for finishing and not for heavy correction work. Although I can finish
well enough with a rotary (Dewalt, Makita, & Snap-On), this will make finishing
a bit faster. Especially on softer paints...

Carpets... Thanks!

I've been concentrating on just polishing my own paint jobs, which is a lot of
in itself, I'm thinking of offering a one or two step "correction" service too.
Hell, I already do this for free for larger jobs, so why not charge for it?

Re: Ultimate Detailing Machine XP by Porter Cable for under $100

ok so... i need the 6" counter weight, luckily i can just use the one from my pc, but XP is killing my hands when i put on my 6.5" pads. It has the 5" counterweight on it, but when i use the regular bp with 5.5" it's perfectly fine. Power is a lot stronger than the orginal PC, doesn't bog down as much.
