Re: Ultimate Detailing Machine XP by Porter Cable for under $100

That is a heck of a deal. Its tempting even though I have a perfectly fine G110 that I love.

Re: Ultimate Detailing Machine XP by Porter Cable for under $100

whoever ordered one or ANY product in the autopia store.. ! here some cool info when you do so...

Welcome to Autopia Car Care!

Since 1999, the goal of Autopia Car Care has been to provide quality information and detailing products for people who love their cars. We are car crazy detailing enthusiasts who love the simple beauty of finely detailed cars.

To us, there is nothing more satisfying than the emails we receive from you telling us how happy you are with your car after using our car care products and detailing tips.

The Autopia-CarCare.com store is owned and operated by The Perfect Shine, LLC, a California Limited Liability Corporation. The Perfect Shine is responsible for providing all products and services related with this website.

It's all about you and your car... and the underserved! In 2003 we moved our warehouse to ARC of San Diego (ARC), a quality-of-life center for adults with learning impairments.

Having ARC provide our inventory, bottling, kit building, picking, packing and shipping services is a dream-come-true for the ARC workforce and us.

Each task, be it the simple application of a label or filling a complex order, is a worthy accomplishment for the ARC employee. The work boosts their pride and enhances their quality of life.

Our involvement with ARC is daily and intense. The investment we make in custom systems to support the under served workforce are paying off with huge smiles and warm hellos every time we enter the facility.

When you remove the shrink wrap from your Autopia Car Care products, you'll know it was lovingly applied by someone who cares that you receive your product in perfect condition.

Sonus, Ultima, Polycharger & Ultimate Detailing Machine are our brand! We created our brands of car cleaners, polishes, protectants, microfiber towels and car polishers as a statement of our own car enthusiast detailing. Our brands embody all of the qualities we seek in detailing products for our own cars.

We're not a superstore (and proud not to be)! Anyone can bring every brand name in the industry into their web store and tell you that every product is "the best". We focus on what works and the products we will use on our own cars. It is our own continuous process of learning and pursuit of solutions for detailing perfection that makes a product worthy of being offered to you.

David Ostroff
Owner

Update! We now ship from Bradenton, Florida! Our company is transitioning and working towards hiring the handicapped at our new location. Local customers may also shop at our Bradenton, FL store!

Looks like it doesn't come with any pads correct?

This will be my first buffer. Would this be a good choice? I was also looking at the Megs G110. via Amazon.com

Thanks Al! I really don't need another buffer but at this price I couldn't pass it up!

Re: Ultimate Detailing Machine XP by Porter Cable for under $100

If i were to use a 6.5" pad on a 6" BP, wouldn't i need to change the counter weight to a 6" counter weight instead? The 5" is included with it right.

i wouldn't worry about changing the counter weight, just use the appropriate backing plate and pads as needed...
