Sure no harm in erring on the side of caution, but the tins I just leave in the shop stay good for at least a decade, even in my old shop where the temps ranged from near-freezing to *well* over 100f. The one I'm using now has been treated that way since I bought it in '90s and it's just fine. That said, my spare case is kept with our wines just to be on the safe side.

I too have enough to last many lifetimes...this stuff simply doesn't go bad as long as you keep the lid on tight.

I stole my wife's food saver and put my extra stash in vacuum seal bags and sucked the air out. They are kept in my lower level workshop at about 62°-66°. Should last forever.

Wow great find, made an offer for 4. So if i understand this right the "moral of the story" is

1- Thin light coats
2- Does no harm to a sealer under the wax?
3- Is almost 3x my age haha, its got to be good.

//Edit

Accepted my offer of 4@$5 each

Click the big orange "Make Offer" button, right at the top-center of the auction. It's directly below the Buy It Now button.

Re: Great deal on #16 on ebay...

I got my 2 tins in yesterday. I tried an application today and I have to say that I'm not impressed with M16 for my vehicle. I used it on my white truck that already had Nxt 2 on it. M16 completely dulled out the shine. Not glossy at all. Just left a dull, unappealing look to it.

I'm thinking of sticking with Nxt for the glossy look. Anyone else have similar results as far as dulling out an already shiny waxed vehicle? Even M26 keeps a better gloss on top of Nxt than M16.
