25% off Mother's Clay at Advance Auto

I just bought Mother's 2 clay bars package at Advance for about $13. The package comes with 16 oz. detailer spray, a MF towel and two clay bars. It's regularly $16.99, but with 25% off.....

Not all Advance Autos have the 2 claybar package though, so make sure you check. As usual, the one nearest me didn't have it (Just like the Surf City stuff!) and I had to go 12 miles instead of 4 to the next one. I gotta say, the one near me really sucks!!!

sweet! I'll pick this up today on the way home from work. I was just thinking yesterday "man it sucks how fast you go through a clay bar"...LOL

FYI, I found the Mother's kit (with one bar) at Kmart for $9.00 on clearance. Looks like I need to swing into Advance.

Good to see it is still goign on. You just have to be careful, there are 1 and 2 bar kits mixed together in very similar boxes.

Apparently Mother's is replacing the 1 bar kit that use to come with a small bottle of wax with the 2 bar kit . Some AA's still have an old inventory of the old one bar kit.

I'd much rather have an extra bar and MF towel than the cleaner wax.

guess what was in in my box. two clay bars but not mothers. they were meguiars white clay bars and smaller. should i be mad?

My Walmart had the mothers claybar kit for 11. Last time I went to AA they were out...Ill hafto check again.

Depends on how much you paid for them and where you got them I guess. If it was me and I got them at Advance, I'd return them, since they're smaller and all. I've never used the Meguiar's clay, so I don't know how well they perform.

i paid $12 is the white megs clay in their own clay kit??

Meguiar's has their own clay kit. It's usually right next to the Mother's clay kit at Advance. I always got the Mother's because it's always cheaper. If they clay bars in the Meguiar's kit is smaller like you said and Mother's sells the two bar kit, I'll definitely stick with Mother's.
