Oil clearance at WalMart...

many WM stores are clearancing Quaker State QTorgue and Horsepower synthetics in quarts and 5 quart jugs at $2.50-$3.50 per quart. Some stores are clearancing some Valvoline, Mobil 1 and Havoline oils as well.

Re: Oil clearance at WalMart...

Is there a way to find out which stores and which products?

Re: Oil clearance at WalMart...

I just came back from walmart and noticed the oils too. Mostly the 5qts jugs. Didn't see any valvoline or mobil 1 tho.

Usually walmart clearances vary from store to store. Happy hunting.

Re: Oil clearance at WalMart...

Yeah.....not sure if this is part of it but WM hired an exec from Target a year ago so in the next 5 years you will start seeing "clean" stores. Action Alley will no longer have 4 ways and all those metal cages on the sides of endcaps will be gone. Not sure if eliminating oil and replacing it with something else is a part of it or just trying to reduce inventory.

I have no idea what you just said, but I'm hoping there are no hookers involved.

Wow! I guess those Pennsylvania Walmarts have a much bigger "selection" than what I'm used to...

Re: Oil clearance at WalMart...

I can vouch for the wally world clearance

Quaker State advance synthetic is definitely on clearance- I bought out the rest of my local store. $15 for the big 5 quart and 3.50 for the single quart sizes.

And Castrol Syntec BLEND is 1.50

I don't think wal mart is going to stop selling oil -my local wal mart is less than a year old and has a HUGE auto section -tires - oil - etc etc

I gotta say that was the funniest way to read into that - yet it was so obvious!

I don't care who ya are, that was funny!

I need to make a trip down the mountain for a few things, I might as well do it today.
