Got Insulation? (Garage)

3 years ago when I remodeled the garage I put some weak Insulation in the attic. It was doing ok but it could have been wayyyyyy better.. Anyhow today Carmin and I were walking around home cheapo looking around and walked down the insulation isle and started looking at the attic insulation. They had these Batts for 24 inch on center attics. Here is the lowdown.. one batt contains 10 “sheets” Of insulation that are 24in wide, 4 feet long, and about 9 in thick… Cost was $46 for a Batt of ten. But they were on sale for $28 for a batt. Needless to say I bought all 7 they had left. This year the garage will be nice and toasty in the winter.. Now the fun job, Putting it all in.. Ugg ..I have 10 pieces done already…

I was gonna ask what R-value, but then I noted the huge r-30 writing in the packages!

That should make things much nicer!

Ok I tried to go out and work on it tonight.. It is 76 outside and 70+% Humidity... Not going to work on it just yet.. maybe later in the night, It has got to be 120+ up there!
