I spilled a bucket of water with black wax in it on my driveway

Now it has dired and doesnt come up just by spraying water. Whats the cheapest way to get rid of it? soap and water and a brush?
Wesleys bleach white? ideas please. Thanks

Water with black wax in it? I don't think I unserstand exactly what has spilled, can you elaborate just a bit...just so I know what you are dealing with.

i had used some colormagic black wax. its wax but almost like thick paint. When I ws done I was leaving the pads filled with the black wax in a bucket of water to soak and clean then the bucket spilleed on my white driveway. it would have been fine if I hosed it off then but I let it dry.

I would hit it with a strong degreaser, but you have environmental concerns to deal with if it spilled onto your driveway. Most places wouldn't think to kindly of you spraying Westley's all over the ground.

You might try the old soap and good scrub brush routine, just to see if it works. If you have to step it up to something more powerful, then at least you gave it a try.

I'm guessing from reading your other post that you are using this stuff on the paint of your car. Can you tell us more about it, I'm curious. Maybe a link to it on the internet here..I haven't heard of the stuff before.

Ill look for a link to the black wax. there are a few kinds. this is duplicolor and for an older black car I like it a lot. especially if there is any residue. i didnt see a link but they pretty uch sell it at any pep boys or autozone. Its not hard to find

Out of interest does your paint system have a clear coat? Coloured wax was popular a little while ago (specifically red and black) but applied on top of a clear coat (where the paint gets its brilliance from) they tended to look somewhat flat and lost popularity. But I understand that Zymol still manufactures red and black coloured wax.

No I'm saying black wax on black cars hide a lot of flaws and the good news is if there is any residue on hard to reach plastic or anything like that at least its black residue not white or yellow

Thanks for all the help guys. I went to home depot and bought a hard broom. Then just used soapy water. It took a ton of work to get it off that way. That stuff is like paint. Next time I will spray some simply green on it first to break it up but I didnt have any simply green so I went the old fashioned route. Elbow grease and a good 30 minute workout but 95% is gone. Now I know I should buy some driveway cleaner to use on the whole deal since jerky neighbors some times leave tire tracks while turning their cars.

togwt I used the black wax and klasse sg and it shines pretty good although to some on this board they probably would go a different route. I like it because it hides a lot of flaws on a black car.
