They do not have them at the Lowes near me. Has anyone seen them in person? They seem awful pricey.

It does seem pricey. I have a Lowes nearby so I'll try and check this out this weekend.

I had some spare time last night so I went to the local Lowe's. They did not have any products to view, but had a display board. There was a sample of the panel which supports all the components and it is made of a very hard plastic. It appears to be very solid. The only had a sample of a piece of a door which seems to be made of plastic, not metal as one would assume from the pictures.

They also had planning guide sheets but nothing that is not already posted on their website. What one sees on the website looks nice, but once you start pricing this product it becomes extremely expensive. The tall cabinet or locker unit is $399. Ouch.

Hope this helps.

One has to wonder how much of a commitment Lowes has to this product when they do not even have one piece on display. I for one would not spend that kind of money I something I could not see in person.

JS: I agree 100%. While the website states that the cabinets have a powder coat finish on metal I would still want to see this before buying.

However the prices are simply astronomical. If one were to put their panels up on the front wall of a typical 2-car garage, 21 feet wide by 9 feet high, one would need (per their website) 14 packages, which would cost $980. This is without any cabinets, or other products they offer. Fortunately the panels are not required for mounting the cabinets as they can be placed directly on the studs. But this is still an expensive product compared to other options. It's a shame, as I really like the look.

I was at a Home and Garden show a few weeks ago and there was a vendor selling this or a similar system. I didn't care for it because once you got into it you were stuck buying proprietary accessories. What happens if this product fails and you can't buy any of the parts anymore? Also the channels will become a collection source for dirt, cobwebs, bugs you name it. There are a lot of channels so it would take a lot of effort to keep them clean.

The channel issue is a very good point. If one would be interested the cabinets can be hung directly to the wall. Since you saw the product, what did you think of the construction of the cabinets?
