Hot &Cold Water + Sink Setup??

Hi guys!
Been off the board for awhile as we just moved into our new house.
I had hot and cold taps run to the garage but never followed completely through because I couldn't decide on the sink.
I looked at those plastic laundry ones at Home Depot but they seem kinda cheap.
Does anyone have suggestions or pics.
Obviously the taps need to have screw on connections for a hose
TIA

Don't have a pic but my folks have a stainless work sink in their garage and its terrific. They had it plumbed in when the house was built.

This install should be a piece of cake for any contractor. If I get to my folk's place in the near future I'll snap a pic of the plumbing for ya.

I have a big porcelin one in the basement. I used to hook up a "Y" with the garden hose for warm water washing of the cars. It worked great!

Now I have the same basic situation but it is soldered in and all I do is turn a valve and it comes out of a tap on the outside of the house. Warm in winter. Cool in summer.

Deemo- Glad to her you're getting a garage all set up the way you want it. Makes all the difference. I ASSUME your builder mad a provision for the sink's drain/hookup to sanitary, right? Just checking! If you run your hose from the sink's spigot(s), be sure to mount the sink/faucet/spigots so it doesn't interfere with your hose. If you can, a separate hose hookup plus the sink might be worth it (was for me).

bretfraz and Brad B. have REAL sinks , but you'd be surprised how tough the plastic/fiberglass-reinforced are. Yeah, they DO look sorta crappy, though. Now I'm gonna have visions of a SS one stuck in the back of my mind!

Thanks for the responses guys.
If anyone has any pics it would be greatly appreciated!
Brad-Did you make that wheel trolley yourself? Great idea if you did!
I have the drain plumbed gut the water needs to be run from the basement - fairly simple.
The builder won't start the project until I make up my mind on the sink and spring is fast approaching.

Deemo- If your builder is actually ready and willing to do the work, maybe you oughta just get SOME sink installed before he goes off and gets "busy". BTW, after spending a lot of time working on the MPV this weekend, I sure was glad I had both the sink and the separate hose spigots. Just made things a lot easier (avoided switching things around).

Do you mean that you have the regular taps for the sink and separate taps H/C taps for the hose?

Deemo- Yeah, that's what I mean. I have a laundry-tub style sink with a H/C faucet mounted on the east wall. I also have separate H/C taps (combined in an industrial style faucet) mounted on the wall that I hook the hose to. I REALLY think it's the way to go and that you would be glad you did it.

I actually have TWO of the hose ones, one on the north wall and one on the south wall, so I have a separate hose for each side of the car.
