Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

You didn't hear this from me but... maybe you could have your own made up with there logo on it.

Kind of sort of on that subject... I was once talking to a software rep. for one of the top software company's. Off the record he told me he would rather have people pirate his software then buy his competitors. He reasoning was someday when they would go to buy the software it would be his.

Thumbs down Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

So, I've been on an email campaign trying to track down how I can get a Meg's banner. Here's the info I finally got back:

"The banner and the material are complementary but will require a $700.00 opening order purchase. If you just want the mirror hangers or brochures we can include them in your orders accordingly with no opening order. We can also keep a rolling total of your orders and qualify you for the banner and signage this way also. Provided the purchase totals are within a reasonable amount of time."

$700.00? To get a $20 polyester banner? ouch.

guess I'll keep looking.

Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

Think of it as a $700 banner with a bunch of free products... lol

Are you a member of the Meguiar's forum? They give one away every month.

LOL... Well, if I had $700 sitting around, I wouldn't be worrying about no silly banner!

Yeah, I'm on the Megs forum. But, it's a giveaway 'contest', meaning in the 3 years I've been on the forum, I've never won. So, looks like same chances as me winning the lottery. LOL

LOL, I won mine from there. Hope I didn't use up my lottery luck on that. It's a nice banner and all, but the lottery would be sooo much cooler. If I win the lottery I'll give you my banner.

Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

I would not mind a nice Meguiar's banner.
I would not mind a nice Clearkote banner.
I would not mind a nice Poorboy's banner.
I would not mind a nice Hot Chick banner.

Manufacturers should be selling these things, great source for advertising.

Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

This is a little off topic, but I picked up this banner on e-bay for around $25 shipped. The banner is about 5'x3'. It helps that I drive a Fusion.

I plan to start my garage project next Spring. The first phase will be to organize the walls & tools, and paint the walls. I hope to tackle the floor in Phase 2

Re: Detailing Posters or Banners

I would just go to a sign shop and have them make it up for you. I would think that the cost would be a lot less than buying one and paying for the shipping,.
