My Driveway Reconstruction Webcam

I figured this subject was close enough to the garage that it was a good place to post this.

As noted in the subject line, starting tomorrow June 6th, I'll be getting my driveway redone. The current driveway is what is left of blacktop. The previous owners never took care of it and never had it coated. Seeing it is falling apart, and when i snowblow large rocks fly at my house windows, and my garage is never clean due to all the rocks the tired carry in, it's time for it to go.

So I am having it replaced with concrete. 34'x100' of it. Seeing it is a large job, and i'm dropping more $4 than i want on it, i'd like to share it with you all. Now, i know some of you are drooling over this, so i will also be taking pics throughout.

So here it is (dont mind the current pic, i setup the webcam just to see if i could get all this setup right) My Driveway Reconstruction Cam in all it glory. Work "should" start tomorrow barring any bad weather and will last until Monday at the latest.

the cam pic will be up tomorrow. not much going on but birds target practicing on the old driveway. I wanted to do a test run from work to see if the cam images kept updating to the site. so as the wind blows, the cam trys to refocus on the screen in front of it.

I have to find a better place for it, or remove the screen itself.

You can see a pic though correct?

Yup, you can make out the grid of the screen but that is about it

It is really white. The sun must be very bright there. I can make out a few trees but other than that I cant really see anything

well, i have the cam updated and added a livecam page also.

now for the problem...they said they would be here today, but they are delayed and the work will not start as planned...so...hopefully tomorrow, but i am not counting on it...

I dumped the old company that was going to do my driveway. They kept jerking me around, so i went with another company. I feel much better now. Seeing i didn't have to worry about it on my vacation. Now they will start up on the 9th. wooohoooo

welp, they started this morning at 6:30 and got right to work. really cool watching it all happen. I swear, if i get this excited watching this, i can only imagine what it would be like to build a house.
