Floor cleaning

What is the best way to clean / degrease a 30 yr old concrete floor?

It recommended using TSP prior to etching with my Epoxy floor coating.

There are garage floor cleaners (check Griot's if you don't mind their prices) that work OK, especially with a hot-water pressure washer. I got the floor at my previous garage (ex-Ford dealership, pretty nasty floors) clean enough for practical purposes with this approach. Not spotless/sanitary, but good enough for a shop.

superclean degreaser (or similar) ... super purple... anything...


spray or dump on a WET floor and scrub it around with a nylon push broom... let that sit for a while, try not to let it dry, and then mist water over it again, and scrub for a while....

rinse it all out, it should be decent...

you might have to do this more than once...
