Great news! I'm very impressed with how things went for you during construction. You have a great builder!

Congratulations!

Dean, thank you for the significant contribution to the community! SO many of us have watched your progress...
I'm sure that the house will soon become a home.

I trust your practice goes well, and that you'll show us all the autos 'tucked in' soon.

You are blessed with a bountiful life, and we appreciate your sharing...

Jim

A fantastic project with results that I'm sure there isn't one among us who isn't jealous as all get out!

Need to have an Autopian launch party.

Has anyone heard from Dean? I suppose he's busy with work, the latest family member and settling into the house and garage. I know I'm not the only person who wants to see the garages with his fleet and hear how the lift installation went. If anyone talks to him let him know we all want to hear from him!

Very Nice !!

Dean,

You and the family have built a beautiful place.

I really like the stain-crete / acid etch floors. They look great. That's exactly what I'd do to the floor in my dream garage.

I also like how you used the stamped concrete around the driveway in front of your garage doors. It really adds a great accent and breaks up a large driveway.

It's always a lot of fun to see just what people do to create their dream garage. Helps give me great ideas for mine!!!

Rest assurred that I'll be taking several ideas from yours when I get the $$ together to do my own. I've saved several pictures from this thread for future reference.

Enjoy your new space!!

Ken.

Late update: March 30, 2005

Sorry for the delayed updates. We moved into the new house on January 11th, and getting settled in was a very long process.

The "Revolution" Rotary lift has been installed, but they have been many problems with getting it adjusted. I think that it deserves an entirely new Autopia thread about the do/don'ts about buying a 4-post lift for residential use. When the lift works, it's great. Oil changes have never been easier.

The 2-car garage is the "working" zone. More pics will follow about the progress in that area.

Enough of the talk...Here are the pics:
