Best air inflator/compressor under $100

The air hose at the gas station 1 minute from my house is broken.

What is the best inflator out there that is under a $100?

Any ideas?

Sears has a nice collection of inflators. I got my friend one for about $30 and it works well. They had it ranging from $20 to $60 so check them out.

I have a Sear Craftsman Inflator/Compressor and I love it. Its perfect for what I need. It has a built in gauge, its AC powered, and comes with several attachments.

Perfect for tires, inflatables, etc.

I am also looking around for an inflaor for the past 2 years and could never spring the cashfor the oil driven uprights I really want. I am looking for a compressor with enough pressure and air flow to blow out a cars crevices as well as workbench sapces and dirt on the floors. i need the air to really move. Do they make something that is priced in the middle of the road? $150-250 is ideal?

I have selected and purchased a Campbell and Hausfeld commercial grade dual tank (only 4 gallons) 6.8 CFM 150psi compressor at Home Depot. It is great! It can run most rotary tools. I got it for $250 and as a pack deal came along with 4 air tools to boot (Air ratchet, impact wrench, air gun and tips, and, I forget the name of the tool- a tool for taking lugs off wheels.
As a matter of fact I tried it out tonight and can really move air with the air gun. Only downside is the small tank and the noise from the motor kicking in to fill it. Quiet though compared to the standard compressor. Also a 3 year warranty.

If you would like to make a garage set-up for your compressor and give it a bigger air supply(volume,airtank) its quite simple.
If you can solder copper pipe you can create a system that will act much bigger than just you compressor. I like copper pipe but I have seen guys set ups with pvc. copper though its easier to make water drains.
I have air station 'hookups' all around my garage and turned my 30 gal unit into one with 70 gal of air including pipe. I can just hook up what ever I want and have air power right there no need for long hoses.
My dad had a 80 gal water heater in his garage as his air tank filled with a 20 gal compressor.
Air tools make things much easier.
Ryan your tank could turn into a about a 12-15 gal unit.

The inflator I bought is great but I regret not checking out Walmart sooner because they have a nice compressor for under $200. I suggest you check it out. I also found a new C&H pressure washer, gas, 2000 psi for $200. This is a good price and will outperform all electric units.
