Join Date: Mar 2001 Location: St. Louis Posts: 3,090 | Washed the car outside today! The Carrera got a bath outside today! First time in a month or more that I haven't been in the garage with the heat cranked up. It actually warmed up here in the Midwest. Got to nearly 60 degrees.

I didn't know it was so warm....I was stuck inside all afternoon giving a lecture....when I left at 5PM it was 46 degrees again....missed it all.........maybe tomorrow!

Join Date: Jun 2001 Location: Omaha, NE Posts: 3,328 | It was around 60' both Saturday and Sunday here in Omaha. I washed and applied Meg's #3 Machine Glaze on Sat, and applied one layer of BF polish and one layer of BF sealant on Sunday.
Hard to believe that the shortest day of the year is less than a week away.

Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: St. Louis, MO Posts: 22 | Cold weather washing I'm the topic of conversation for my neighborhood this time of the year, as I'll keep washing the rides as long as water flows from the hose. It's amazing how warm you can stay with a bucket of hot soapy water when the air temp is in the 20's. I always make sure to drain the hose when I'm finished so it's ready for the next time even if it's below freezing.
Just finished washing the Rover as the sun was setting. The weather man says it's in the mid 40's, but the 20mph winds made it pretty darn chilly.

Oh well..... worth it I guess to give a great sendoff to a Lt. Commander.
