This is my "NOS-Methane System". I call it "MOS" instead of "NOS". Air goes in at the front, then is mixed with the MOS, and fired out of the arse into the engine.
I built and installed it all by myself into my 535i Sport.



As you can see I had to fabricate a special four-point strut brace to hold the little fella in place as he kept falling off in corners.

See also the heat reflective material used to keep him cool.

The power is awesome, but unpredictable. Like similar NOS systems, MOS is injected under huge pressures, many times that of normal atmosphere. Sometimes there can be no boost for some time, then "boom", and your doing 200+ MPH.

As you can see, I`ve also specify a K&N cone filter, as it provides the superior breathing that this perfomance modification requires.
He also wanted to look through the mesh to see where he was going, which he couldn`t do when his head was stuck in the airbox.

The special silver piping from his bottom to the engine intake I got from a contact of mine who works for NASA.
It is actually part of a top-secret experimental toilet for the Space Shuttle, but I`m not allowed to talk about it.

Now here we are, my patented E34 Twin-Turbo System.
Knocks the E39 & Alpina B10 BiTurbo into a cocked hat, and when I showed the car to BMW, they seemed worried about how their forthcoming M5 V10 would perfom against it

As I said before, this uses a small fluffy bunny rabbit which spins up quickly, then a wild hare to provide the high-end punch. Nice!



Lots of additional pipework and plumbing was required for this difficult install.

Wild animals ears are very sensitive to the noise and heat under the bonnet, so I have made some special titanium plated ear defenders for the Hare.
The rabbit was unfortunately born deaf so I didn`t bother with any for him. He was cheap to buy.

Pay close attention to my special air-flow metering system, which provides real-time data from the "Hare", which gets written to a laptop harddisk which has been spliced into the OBC.

Note the leaf near the shock mount, this is a backup nibble in case of perfomance loss on long journeys.



Here I am at Nurburging, and I`ve connected my portable computer to the system to make those all important last-minute adjustments.
The ability to make trackside tweaks to the boost is a godsend with a powerful motor like this, and I feel that the years experience here in Germany have honed my skill in the modern 21st Century art of computer engine management.



Here you see the custom software I use. I spent many sleepless nights writing it, as the software I was given by Williams-BMW F1 just didn`t cut the ice at this level. I will however, be doing my bit and will be supplying the team with a cut-down version for the 2002-2003 season.
