Beer Time

I thought I would start another thread for this long weekend of grilling, beer drinking, and having fun. Well, tonight I'm having a Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA, it clocks in at 7% ABV, has a sweet/bitter flavor with a nice bite in the finish. Scents of hops, sweet malts, and citrus. I will be having a Bear Republic weekend, lol Anyone else enjoying a nice brew this long weekend?

Do you belong to a Beer Club? Definitely post what you get, I'm very interested in knowing.

Yes, we try to do a group buy several times a year but this is going to be our first summer beer buy.
I should have the list of beers when I return to work on Tuesday.

Have not had that one yet. I've never had a SA that I have not liked. Very tasty brews.

I'm not much of a microbrew guy, but one that I'd highly reccomend if you can get your hands on it is Shipyard Summer Ale. Theyre mostly a Maine brewery, but I've gotten their beers down in Florida before so you might get lucky.

On my way to the track (as in Indy) in a few minutes...so of course I have my Foster's Oil Cans. 25 ounces, so you have to drink them fast on a warm day.

I know it's technically 'The Official Beer of F1', but I figure it works for other open-wheel racing as well.

gmblack3a,

Very nice, thank you, lol Not sure if you know, but SA in early June will be coming out with the Patriot Collection (Traditional Ginger Honey Ale, James Madison Dark Wheat Ale, George Washington Porter and 1790 Root Beer Brew), I sure hope they make it over to UT.
