mannerisms in public

sometimes it amazes me how some people are in the grocery store and will open a bag of chips, soda, etc.. and have at it. not to mention... half the time, they leave the products behind and not pay for them . anyone else experience this behavior often around their neck of the woods?

It happens... of course, in store video surveillance is a wonderful thing, and has been used to prove that someone opened the bag of chips, ate a piece of fruit, etc.

I recently saw a bunch of skateboarders in a grocery store in line consuming items BEFORE they paid. I just shook my head.

My grocery store pet peeves:

- People eating/drinking before buying. Wait another 1-2 minutes!
- People who enter express lanes when they know they have more than 10 or 20 items.
- People who write checks.
- People who have no conrol over their toddler/child and let them yell constantly.
- People who don't push carts back into the cart return area.

That's all I can think of right now. Yup, that's all... as of now!

My peeves:
-People who stare at the cashier as the items are being rung up, then, when they are told the amount, they "snap out of it" and START to look for their money.
-People whose kids take a candy or cookies off the shelf, open or damage the package, then the parent puts it back on the shelf.
-People who push their cart to one side of an isle, then start browsing while standing on the OTHER side (Blocks whole isle.)
-People who don't put their carts back-Especially when the cart corral is 20 FREAKING FEET AWAY!!
-People who fling their door into your car.
-People who use your car roof/trunk as a shelf for their purse/boxes while they unlock their car.

Yep. Many frustrating things out there. Common Sense isn't very common anymore, it seems.

Yes I have noticed things like this. Most people act like animals most of the time.

Are you guys serious?! If that kind of "behavior" is that common these days, I guess U.S. society is just continuing to get more and more uncouth by the hour .

Yeah sad to say I think the U.S. is falling hard and China will be the next Big Power, unless North Korea does something crazy.

blood pressure rising....

I've had several people seem to watch in amazement as I park in the back of the grocery store parking lot and collect abandoned carts on my way to the store. Then I shove them all into the corral and take one with me.
