I recently saw a beautiful black truck with chrome looking trim, but it was not shiny it has a sort of matte look. It looked so nice and I would love to get it for my VW black Jetta. Any ideas where I can get them??

Rust repair on a 1993 Eclipse- Does anyone have a ballpark estimate for me?

The car is a 1993 Eclipse. The quarter panel on the right rear of the car has bubbling paint from rust and a small section where the paint is gone and the rust has come through. The whole thing is about as big as my hand. It has not physically rusted through yet, but it might be close.

I have tried calling body shops but they do not return calls, so I was hoping someone here might have some experience with this sort of thing and tell me what I'm getting into.

I am guessing that the worst case scenario is the rust will need to be cut out, and the shop will need to fab a new peice of metal and weld it in, grind it down, and repaint the panel. Does anyone know how much a job like that what cost BALLPARK? I am just looking for a price range ($xxx-$xxxx). I am hoping it will be around $1000 and not TOO much higher, but it could be less, because I don't know.

Here is a picture:

Any help is appreciated

Gravity Cast Wheels

lately I have been looking for new wheels for my vehicle. The set that I like most are the: *Enkei Performance RZ-5* 's. I was about to purchase them then i noticed that they are "Gravity Cast".
It seems that gravity cast wheels are cheaper to make and usually heavier.
Do you have any opinion about these wheels/gravity cast wheels? Would you buy them? Have you ever had trouble cleaning/maintaining Gravity cast wheels?

Wiper Arms

Just wondering, I notice that most cars, trucks that are a few years old, have the paint chipped off the wiper arms. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
Probably a stupid question
Thx
