What are some good ones? I know there are a lot out there but what are some good ones that are not that expensive?

Re: Vertical Doors?
LSD make some of the best one. Your looking about $3.5K onwards, for a good set, that won't sag and drop in a few months time

Re: Vertical Doors?
i forgot to ask what kind of car these are going on. somehow i just assumed a vet, sorry bout that. if they are going on a vet i think for about 1695 it's a good deal if they perform the way they say. as for the kit you mentioned for 599 all i can say is with something like this don't look for the cheapest way, you get what you pay for most of the time. so just be careful when buying a product like this, do your homework, which is what you're doing and be sure before you buy.

Re: Vertical Doors?
i just checked the site you are referring to and i must say thank you for turning me on to the site, this is one i'll have to look into. they look great and if they perform as well as they say, still a good deal because i've seen prices 2600 and higher. and for that kind of difference in price you wonder why. are they using thicker metal, stronger metal etc., thses are the things you should know before hand. before i buy i'll ask peoplr that have installed these kits firthand what they think are the best ones to buy and go from there. i've been told by afew peole not to put them on the car because you'll get stress cracks eventually. so this is why i'm hesitant to buy them.

Re: Vertical Doors?
Yea. I want to be different. No one at school has them. I know people can afford them too because everyone has huge rims, nice systems, and there are a couple of really nice cars too.

Re: Vertical Doors?
IMO, Verticals/lambos do not belong on any daily driver. Spend your money on go-fast goodies, wheels, electronics, anything else. You will spend $600 on lousy lambos, and no one will know you have them -- until you open your door in the parking lot. That's when people will really LOOK....and LAUGH.
PS> No one at your school has them for this reason.

Re: Vertical Doors?
blucpe, you need to take it a little easy. No need getting this excited about a thread you didn't even start. When we put something out there on a "discussion" forum, we are idiots if we only want to hear certain opinions and not others; can you think of anything more idiotic?
So here's mine: Vertical doors on a Cobolt would be beyond laughable, but hey, not my dime right?
Here's another: LSD is the only company I know off that does crash tests on all its kits; that is one of the reasons why they are so expensive. So I see no sense in buying something that isn't even guaranteed to protect you should someone decide to T-bone you at an intersection. That is bound to affect your insurance payments too (a smart attorney looks for anything to reduce his client's liability). I would stay as far from such products as possible, but hey, that's just an "opinion".
