No problem glad I could help

also not transmission related but if the car is a conv. or has t-tops sub-frame connectors are a must!
check out UMI weld in's on ebay
they will take a lot of flex out of the car and make it handle a lot better

A buddy of mine has a setup for what your looking to do.
a hypertech power programmer will be a good starter for what you want to do.
Stall converter... next... or depending on what and how much your looking for either a shift kit, or a built tranny with a shift kit already installed that will hold more power...

Are you planning on running spray?

and like bigjim said which i would say is mandatory is the subframe connectors...

not to start anything here but a mail order tune will cost about 1/2-1/3 of a hypercrap
and give much better results
