New wheels for the WRX :)

Found a great deal on Tire Rack (thanks to Luke @ Tire Rack, sponsoring a subforum over at NASIOC) and couldn't pass it up. It was about time to get off the snow tires anyway This way I can just swap wheels for the seasons, having summers on their own set of rims.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's in 215/45/17 - $88/ea -$100 mail-in rebate
Shuk W22 17x7 - $159/ea on clearance
So, after rebate, under $1k for a complete 17" wheel/ultra high performance tire package

Of course, I spent a good couple of hours thoroughly cleaning them and throwing the Klasse twins on before I mounted them up

Now for some Prodrive springs and some sway bars

Thanks, all. I know they're not Rotas or BBS or anything, but for the price and just simply getting a summer wheel/tire combo on the car (being able to easily switch out to snows in the winter) I couldn't pass it up. Thankfully I found something that isn't too gaudy. I was originally looking for some Legacy GT wheels, but these will do

The new rims look great, not to crazy or over the top

Any mods on the WRX? I know an older fellow in my area had a wagon like yours really hooked up. I believe he had an upgraded turbo or something, but it was really fast and proved to be a nice sleeper

thanks and nope, nothing crazy with this one. It's primarily the wife's car. She'd wanted a WRX for a while.
