Carnauba wax will darken the repainted area to match the rest, right?

I have a feeling the owner did the work himself. Probably drunk, hit something, then repaired it himself rather than report it on his policy...if he has one. 20% of drivers in Texas have no insurance according to the latest figures.

Hmm... interesting. (Note to self: NEVER drive in Texas without full coverage!!) I'd say that's possible that he did it himself, but in that case it isn't a bad job in terms of the filler (for an amateur); just bad paint match and sanding.
