Custom Painted Fuel Tank Cover and Chrome Straps Installed - Pics>>>

I had my fuel system upgraded on my GT, as well as my Glenn's Performance Custom Painted Fuel Cell Cover installed with triple plated chrome straps.

Thought you guys might enjoy a few pics of a different mod that I have not seen on many Mustangs. I must give credit where credit is due...my painter did a wonderful job on the prep, the paint matches the factory Silver Metallic of the car perfectly, and the install was flawless. Of course, the cover has already been treated to a couple coats of Clearkote Carnuba Moose...it didn't need any glaze as the finish was great.

Enjoy.

Complete pics of the install, as well as the mods we made to the cover are available here:

Looks awesome, nice touch

Makes me want to get out into the garage and work on my 'Stang. I have sort of neglected her since I bought the motorcycle.

Now that is my kind of mod!!! Subtle, clean and tastefully done!! Did you install a bigger in-tank pump to run more boost?

What kind of numbers did that supercharged silver fox body put down?

Thanks for the compliments...

The silver Fox was in the neighbourhood of 342rwhp as I recall. I upgraded to the SVT pump for my car, and we will be going to a polished Aftercooler in the next few weeks, which will alow me to turn things up. I should be in the 425-435 rwhp range when we are done. Can't wait!

Ahh...more paint to keep polished. It is more difficult on the underside of the car though

That mod looks terrific! I just finished mirror finishing my exhaust tubing and mufflers (SLP Loudmouth) and am in the process of putting an aluminum driveshaft along with a painted rear axle assembly. My Mach 1 is a fair weather driver and I'd like to have a nice under carriage for shows. That fuel tank cover is a great idea.

Here's a pic of the exhaust.

What! I want one!

That fuel tank is the ugliest thing ever from the back view of my 94.
