Griot's Wheel Restoration Kit

Okay, so here's the situation. About 18 months ago, I decided I was going to strip and polish my wheels. I'd seen it done, didn't look too hard, blah, blah, blah...

I have two done so far and they look like crap-I can get them to a chrome look and they stay that way for about a week and then it's a couple more hours of polishing. And of course I have only had time to do two of them, so not only do those two look like crap, they don't match the other two.

Word of advice-don't try to polish out your own wheels.

So...I'm not going to keep the car that much longer so I don't want to (a) try to polish the other two, (b) have them professionally polished, (c) have them powder coated, or (d) buy new wheels. Last night I was looking through Groit's and they had the Wheel Restoration Kit shown Here . Has anyone ever tried this?

I don't necessarily want a perfect result, just something for when I go to sell the car it doesn't look so horrible. Thoughts? Other suggestions?

Edit: Sorry, bad link, here it is: restoration kit
