I doubt you could due to the differences in fire order and the extra two cylinders on a V8. Ask a performance muffler type shop and see what they say.

Thanks Guessmn

I know that I will never match that sweet sound of all 8's lopeing along but the main thing I was looking for was a deep throaty sound.I do not like the higher pitched sounds that alot of the small engine cars have.I wander if Flowmaster makes something think I'll go check their site.

you can do the whole dual exhaust thing with the pipes out the back. Flowmaster, Gibson, Borla, B&B (maybe)

Have you checked Greddy or Stillen??

Arrow Check Out Turbo Gus ...

This guy does strange things to small Chrysler turbo engines. Part of his 'research' covers the exhaust field:

This might be helpful.

I think Borla would be the best bet.

Or just run straight pipes right off your headers and skip the cat and muffler

I have got a Flowmaster 40-series (3" in, 2 2.5" out) on my 4.3L V6. It sounds really good, although it is kind of lound in the cab. I've been in traffic and punched it a few times and always get asked, "Does that thing have a V8."

Cool Flowmaster

Yeah, if you're looking for that low key V8 rumble, I'd say Flowmaster is the product. Even on my 3.1L V6 you could mistke the rumble for a small V8. I love the deep tone, and it is a little loud inside the car, but I actually like that too. The one thing you could count on is that it won't sound like a high strung sewing machine after it's installed.

I would go with Borla too. I have even four cylinder cars with Borla that sound close to V8's not like some of those other companies people put on there imports that sound like giant leaf blowers!
