New set of Enkei Wheels for my 6
They just arrived today while I was at work. I just finished applying a coat of SG to both sides of the wheels. The silver finish is immaculate. Can't wait to get them on the car.
Specs:
Enkei RP03, 17x7 +45
Toyo Proxes4, 225/45/17
More pics to come after the rubber meets to road.

I assume you are talking about a Mazda 6?

In his screen name it says "6i", which suggests to me that he has a 6i, not a 6s. I believe the 6i has 16s, right?

Some people do that just so that they can have a spare set of wheels for snow tires.
I was thinking about getting a spare set of OEM 15s for the Protege, but decided on some lightweight 16x7s from TireRack for summer tires. Then I can mount snows on the OEM wheels.

Yes, the car has 16s on it stock. I didn't want to add the rotating mass of 18" wheels. I plan on installing them tomorrow after work.
Here's a pic of the car with stock 16" wheels. I think the Enkeis look just a little better

I love that color!
I'm looking to possibly buy a blue Mazda of my own. Otherwise probably silver, but I have always loved blue cars.

Thanks for the comments. The Lapis Blue Metallic is an interesting color. It tends to change from dark blue in the shade to bright blue in the sun and even looks a little purple depending on the direction of light hitting the body.
Here's a link to my Autopia Gallery with a few various pics.
