New Mods

Will be adding a couple of mods to my X. First up will be a MagnaFlow muffler and new tail pipe and most likely a chrome tip. Secondly a FIPK from K & N. Anyone have these mods? What do you think, did you get more horsepower and/or gas mileage?

I know for a fact that the gas mileage will improve slightly with a K&N, as well as improve throttle respone. The muffler may help a little, as well as change the tone a bit.

to keep getting the HP and Gas milage benefits of the K&N you should clean it every 1.5 oil changes.

the thing gets dirty hellla quick especially with hwy miles
