I cleaned the caps with soap and water. When they were dry I sprayed them with adhesion promoter to help the primer stick. Then I sprayed the base coat down. That part dried pretty quick. The color coat took a little longer to dry, but I got two coats on anyway and let them dry in the sun and then later in my garage. I masked off the seals and threads so tehy didn't get paint on them. I don't care if the threads are yellow since all you see is the top anyway.

I'm going to color over the raised parts with black before I clear coat them. I might not even clear them. They look pretty good like this I think.
