It has begun...

After much torment and wait I finally placed my orders for autopainting supplies (ie breathing, compressor, gun, etc.). I am so excited and can't wait to start learning on my test vehicle hehe. I think I'm more excited about this than (gasp) when detailing supplies arrive. Wish me luck : D

When I finish my first orange peel, I mean paint job I'll try to get pictures. On a side note, I was able to convince my friends that my air supply was for terrorists.

Very cool. Best of luck.

I took the plunge a few years ago and painted my '02 tii. It was my first job.

Boy did I go through some sandpaper! Breathing gear? I am still coughing Verona Red!

Looks great Brad, I hope the Comet can come closs to that shine eventually. I decided that since I want to paint more than a single vehicle that I'd save myself from the isocyanates and 'cough' up the dough for a fresh air system.
