New motor being assembled

Thought I'd share some pics. I'm having a 4.6 modular motor biult up with a forged crank, forged manley rods, forged Diamond pistons at 9.85 compression ratio. ARP bolts, ported heads....will be running stock valves and cams (all reassembled). Intake was already ported. Running an S-trim Vortech pushing 12-13 lbs of boost.

Should be around 575RWHP when completed.
Pics.....

Wow. Awesome. I better watch out for a black '99 snake with a strange whining under the hood. Is it a stick or an auto? Have you upgraded the trans/rear end?

Last year I put in a Viper T56 and a solid axle with 31 spline mosier axles, auburn diff, SVO upper control arms, Mega Byte Jr. lowers andnew springs and shocks. Also have an aluminum driveshaft from before. I put 4.30's in, but with the low 2.66 first gear in the tranny, I could have even went with a 4.56 gear.

I blew the motor at the track pushing 487RWHP with the Vortech and stock block. Best time was a 12.3 at 118mph on my third and last run. I was getting use to the new tranny and solid axle when the motor started smoking mad. Either a cracked ring land or possibly the valve seals let go. Tearing the motor apart next week. The motor in the pics is a new block and new heads. Everything else going on that motor will be from my current long block.
