04 explorer
I am looking for some cool items for my new car. I got bored and went out and got a 2004 Ford Explorere XLT.
I want to add some new toys & wheels.
Found some good sites, does anyone have any good sites to give me.
Thanks

The Explorer is a nice SUV !
Congrats on the purchase....i hope you don't get "bored" too often, it could get expensive for you !

no pics yet, the dealer thought i was crazy.
I told him i want the vehicle just the way it was, no removing stickers, no washing, i did not want them to even touch it.
i told the dealer if they wash it, then i wont sign the papers so it better come to be dirty.
I picked it up in the rain and it was so dirty i could not wait for it to stop raining so i can detail it.
info on car
I got in it Bright white, with privacy glass, and tinted front to match. grey leather w/ 3rd row seating. i am looking for wheels now. i may do a chrome exchange for the wheels.
I detailed the car last weekend and i got a reflection from my white, better then most non-autopians get with black
i will post pix soon,

What ever happened to Overlander? Wasn't that the name of the large-scale off-road accessories outfit? I was going to recommend visiting their site but it's a good thing I checked first. "O" something, at least...

Keep the grill--replace the door handles with body-keyed handles. It'll save you on tape costs.
I would keep the stock wheels, but give it roughly a 1-2" lift. Not enough to look like a swamper vehicle but enough to let it stand out. Also, add some BF Goodrich AT's that are 1" larger in diameter and remain flush with the body. You want specific suggestions--I got your freakin' specific suggestions!!
If you don't want to go the roof rack route, add a hitch for racks for your toys (skis, bikes) and possible boat.
Also--you have to throw the Cobra CB somewhere accessible and a Wilson 1000 antenna on the roof--if you are a road tripper, that is.
Even if you do nothing, that really is a sweet ride. Enjoy it

Awesome ride you got there! I'm in the market myself for a larger vehicle as my family has grown! Married with 3 babies....2 are human and the third is my business!
