Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: california Posts: 762 | Installed a neat mod on my mustang today! I have always been so annoyed by the hood prop rod on all of the mustangs I have owned. I wish Ford would have done the hood prop that hinges up like on their trucks. Anyways I decided to try out Redline Tuning's attempt to create a better hood prop. It was a very easy install and the instructions were superb. The hood is very easy to lift up now as you can see in the video. I think it adds a nice touch to my car especially since many people ask to see under my hood. If you want one of your own, they are $60 plus shipping. They have other kits too, for different years. On my maxima, I personally would like the prop rod better then the gas lifts - if the power comes from my hands, I'm sure it will never fail | |
