transmission blew up please help

I drive a Integra 94 LS... my transmission blew up couple days ago and I found a 94 GS transmission from a friend... what I am woried about is will it fit ? what will I need?? how long do you think it might take me ? is it hard?

I dont want to get started on it and not be able to swap it in

Wouldn't yr mech say anything about it ? As long as the seals, gaskets and bolts match there seems no difference. The engine the same only the GS / LS suffixes defining the trim level...

I' d sat ask your mech a last time and bolt it on...

The GS and LS Integras use the same engine and transmission. There is no problem using the GS transmission.
