Air Gun
For those that have done paint touch ups (not graphics), what brand and model do you use and how miuch was it? I need to work on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, but nothing overhead. Also, from what I've seen, there are lots of accessories, but which are the really necessary ones? I have 2 air compressors (large and small) with pressure regulators - what air pressure(s) have you used? how much color layer and clearcoat thinning is required, or just use "straight from the bottle".
Thanks for the input.

I will throw some stuff out there, What i own is a DeVilbiss knock off. It is called a Star. Smae internals same design, just not the same price according to the guy at paint masters. The DeVilbiss model runs $299, i got mine for $100. I have an in-line pressure gauge/regulator on the gun, along with a moisture filter. I operate the gun at around 35-40 psi depending on the spray pattern, and what i am trying to accomplish. I cant say for sure about reducing and activating the base coat, as i have mine mixed for me at the shop (it is cheaper than buying reducer by the gallon), but as for the clear, it is 1 part activator for 4 parts clear according to the Nasson stuff that i am using. The tank i use is a Craftsman (Devilbiss certified) 30 gallon with max pressure of 140. It isn't too bad, hold enough air that i can work for a while without the incredibly loud motor to irritate me.
