Replacing side mirror

How would one go about replacing a side mirror that is all scratched up? Is this something i would need to go to a dealership for or could it be like a pop off, pop on situation? Anybody know?

In most cases, remove interior door panel. Remove mirror cover plate. You should be able to see access to the bolts for the mirror after the plate and door panel are removed. Unplug harness to mirror (if power or heated), unbolt mirror and pull out.

To replace, reverse procedure.
