Looking for License Plate Fasteners & Frames

My '01 Maxima and wife's '99 Oddyssey - I've been having difficulty finding non-rusting (ie stainless steel) screws (without nuts) to fit the plastic mounting screw holes for the rear trunk and liftgate, respectively. I'd really prefer something less shiney than bright chrome, maybe black, but local parts stores don't seem to even have chrome. The black plastic screws I've found are to be used with nuts and won't screw into the plastic hole mounts.

I'm also looking for an attractive - read as "classy" - license plate frame and lens covers for these cars, but I'm not likely to spend $40 for each one. Both cars are silver, so I'm thinking black frame with light smoke-tinted lens/cover, but may consider chrome frames and clear lens. Does anyone have any acquisition suggestions or resources for all this jazz?

Thanks,
-KCD-

Well, the best frame that I can recommend and is on my '03 Lexus SC430 is called a License Plate Vault. Very heavy chrome or black frame and hard ABS cover. This is the best you can get! It's also called Protectalock See it at Autoanything.com

Regards,
Deanski

Try these guys www.gunthergifts.com

I bought two frames from them a couple of years ago and one pitted this past winter, they replaced it at no charge long after the warranty was expired. Very good service!
