I made it up lol. But some thoughts do float to mind when I see some of those cars driving around. I just hear the term rice alot, and my friends get offended. They've even seen pictures with Asian guys making honda emblems with stir-fry rice just for the picture. Yeah I've heard of the "jap-crap" term before. I have an old popeye movie of my grandfather during WW2 with popeye fighting the japananese, kinda odd to picture popeye saying "your a sap mr. jap" lol.
Sorry for making a big stink over the whole rice term thing, my dog just got major surgury yesterday, (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy), it basically takes out the whole knee and replaces it with a metal one. His insicision opened up last night so I had to rush to the vet at 1 in the morning for an emergency, and have been up since watching him, occasionally to take a break and do stuff like this. So I havn't had too much sleep lol.

One thing is for sure...no matter how much you like or hate that car...you WILL remember it. And I am sure that is what they wanted.

IMO It is a nice show car but not for me. I don't see the point of modifying a car to the point where it is only for show. Cars were meant to be driven.

You don't have to like it to respect the amount of time that went into creating it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I may not appreciate most works of art but I can appreciate that the creator probably has a hell of a lot more talent than I do in that area.

After looking at the making of pictures, I can only say I wish I had the time, resources and sheer talent to do something of that level of sophistication. For those of you who don't like the over top look of the Civic, check out the BMW X5 Alpine did.

After looking at it again all I can say is yuck. What a waste of money, but then again that's just my opinion. I do appreciate the amount of hard work that went into it though.

That's your choice, but to my knowledge there is not another civic that cost as much as this one to build, $250,000 I believe.
