Wiper Arms

Just wondering, I notice that most cars, trucks that are a few years old, have the paint chipped off the wiper arms. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
Probably a stupid question
Thx
Kev

Re: Wiper Arms

Kev, you can try and keep a coat of wax on them but the ones that are chipping are usually because they take a lot of rock chips and debris and just start chipping. Plus the paint is thinner on them and not cleared.

Re: Wiper Arms

Repaint with epoxy appliance paint, it comes in a spray can and can be found at most hardware stores. The stuff is super durable and really scratch and chip resistant.
