Anyone ever done their own wheel rash repair?

I picked up a set of silver TRD BBS 18" wheels. 2 of the wheels have a few nicks in them and I would rather not pay $200 to get them fixed.

Has anyone ever done this to their wheels? I am confident I could do the wheel repair, but I am more worried about the paint matching the BBS wheel. The Wurth can says it matches any German silver wheel, and this is German, and it's silver, but it does not look similar to BMW wheels.

Check with the guys at Colony Tire over in Wake Forest - they have a guy that repairs rims.

Ehh, the rims are being sold anyway, just figured if I could do it myself I would save some greenbacks.

Best bet would be to go to a automotive paint mixing place and have them match the paint. I have helped a friend do rash repair and it is not difficult just need to find matching paint. Or you could repaint all 4 wheels and not have to worry about the color matching.

Hey Brandon,

How much do you want for the set? 6 lug I'm assuming? I'm in Wake Forest / North Raleigh.

Thanks!
