emblem paint

What would everyone recommend as the best brand/type of primer and spray paint for painting emblems?

Re: emblem paint

I've narrowed it down to House of Kolor, PPG, DuPont, and BASF.

Any opinions on any of these?

risingsun- Welcome to Autopia!

Actually, I was gonna ask about not spraying, but rather doing them by hand with something like One Shot striping paint. You're talking about a pretty small thing, right?

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm just going to remove the manufacturer emblems on my truck and give them a sanding+wet sanding/primer/paint. I've already debadged the model so I just want to paint up the remaining manufacturer emblems.

After all the reading I've done it sounds like HOK is the best. I wish they did some colors in spray paint cans, because I don't even own a spray paint gun, but I'd still like to use their quality of product.

Any recommendations for GOOD auto spray paint cans?

My local autobody/paint supply place makes up cans using different types of paints. See if any such stores in your area can help you out.

HOK isn't the best. There isn't a best between those four. They're all pretty much equal. I use BASF and have used PPG and duPont before.

Well, what I meant was many people prefer HOK over the other three.

I've read threads on other forums where body shop owners commented on HOK being the only brand they use. Like everything else, I'm sure it just depends on who you ask, but I've heard enough good things about them to rank high in my book.
