"v_eight".

No one on there seems to know what the deal is with my Element's headlights and swapping S2K's into it, but i'm sure it's easily possible.

What model Element do you have? Do you have the regular version or the SC? The SC comes with halogen projectors I think. The SC should not be too hard to retro IMO.

HID is the way to go that's for sure.

One thing I've done is change bulbs and side markers from Xenonmods.com and from Hoen-usa.com. This way, you can taylor the look you're after!

The paint I used on the outer plastic chrome trim is Krylon fusion in satin black, and the paint I used for the middle where the projector is Dupli Color "Engine Enamel" flat black I believe. The chrome part around the porjector is a 2.5" chrome pipe flange from ACE hardware and the chrome flange is jb welded to an aluminum/light metal stove drip bowl that goes under the coils of an electric stove to keep stuff from falling down. That's why I used the high heat since it will get kinda hot.

So what are the bulbs and ballasts that everyone's using these days? Is everyone still sticking to Philips ballasts?

Re: 96 Civic H.I.D. retrofit! PICS!

I am using Phillips 85122+ bulbs with OEM BMW ballast. I believe the ballast are Hellas. I'm already thinking about buying another set of projectors from my friend soon. Haha Maybe some FX35-45's or AFS RX330's with E30 clear lenses. I'm leaning more towards the Rx330's at this point because of sharpness/color/light output.

This is it (with my girlfriend):

And yes, it comes with halogen projectors, but I want clear-lens HID projectors.
