In for Paint

Well after 18 months my 1967 Nova is in for new paint. I was as excited as a kid on Xmas eve when I dropped it off at the body shop this morning. The shop will need it for a month and I can't wait to see it when it's done.

The color will be House of Kolor Candy Brandywine over Gamma Gold.

I dropped off a truck load of new parts for it as well. The body shop was shocked at how much new stuff I was dropping off. All new glass is getting ordered and will be shipped directly to the shop.

Stay tuned for pics

Re: In for Paint

Congratulations! It doesn't seem like it's been 18 months since you posted when you bought that deuce. The only thing I hate about new paint is the drive home from the body shop. It seems like every driver, bird, and rock are aiming to hit the new paint .

Good idea, now is the time to replace stuff like that. As others have said I'm also really looking forward to some pictures.

Re: In for Paint

Pat that is so wierd. My friend had a 67 Nova and we painted it the same House of color Candybrandywine over Gamma. I think we did it back in 1992. I can tell you one thing, that is the best color I have ever seen. I was just thinking about that the other day and how I never see that color on some rods and now I read this post.

I CAN"T WAIT to see it!!!!!!! I already know what it is going to look like.....SEXY!
