Sarah Palin
What do you guys think about Governor Palin? I think she's fantastic; just what we need to shake things up in Washington. She governs the biggest state in the US, which gives her more executive experience than all the other candidates combined. My wife is quite fond of Sarah Palin too. In fact, I ordered a pair of Kazuo Kawasaki rimless eyeglasses for my wife, the same ones that Palin has made famous. There is a six-week waiting list for the glasses, would you believe?

Re: Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin is the pinnacle of executive leadership as stated above. She has vast amounts of knowledge and experience from reading all newspapers and magazines as evidenced by her interviews with Katie Couric:
She is just the type of intellect we need in the White House; plus, there is the added benefit of having excellent foreign relations with Russia, because mother Russia can be seen from her neighboring border with Alaska:
Why wouldn't you want to vote for her? She's a very smooth talker like George W. Bush and could take a crap, wrap it in tinfoil, put a couple fish hooks on it and sell it to Queen Elizabeth:
Palin is exactly what America needs, a true represenative of the American people. Of course people would know this if they weren't too busy worrying about her unretouched cover on Newsweek that show all her porous features:
Definitely the best VP pick McCain could have made. Good on ya, mate!

Re: Sarah Palin
Thanks MikeWIN. That gave me a different perception about her possibly being in the White House.

Re: Sarah Palin
I'm not voting for McCain. I had no problem with him being president but I prefer Obama. Once he chose Palin as his vp though, I changed my mind. If McCain croaked in office, someone who has so far appeared to be incompetent would be running the White House.

Re: Sarah Palin
She thinks dinosaurs walked on earth 4000 years ago at the same time as humans existed. I think she has watched the Flintstones a bit too much.
There are other examples also.

Re: Sarah Palin
There's so much miss-information in this thread, well, there's more incorrect information than accurate information. The campaign organizers should be proud.
PS, the Katie Couric interview was a joke...it doesn't get more biased than that.

Re: Sarah Palin
We have every right to question her intellect after living with that fool W. for 8 years. She is unknown so what are we supposed to take the RNC word for it that she is highly qualified? It turns out that she barely has any knowledge on a wide range of subjects. She makes herself available to questioning about as much as Bush and Cheney have. Great more secrecy in the White House!
Being exposed as a naive fraud does not mean that interbiew is biased.

Re: Sarah Palin
Just what we need. Someone in the Whitehouse that actually thinks the Earth/Universe is only 5-4 thousand years old. Come on!
She also belongs to that church group that beleives the 'Rapture' is coming within their lifetime. So your going to vote in someone that thinks and is preparing for the end of the world!
Too much 'faith' for me!

The amount of dirt in a state (i.e surface area) doesn't necessarily equate to how much experience or imporatnce. For example, Alaska ranks 48th, near the very bottom, when it comes to population and not to mention it is somewhat detached from the 'lower 48'.

Re: Sarah Palin
I try to keep a level head about this stuff and when I see things that sound fishy, I investigate myself. Snopes.com is usually a good place to start if you're looking to find out it something people are touting is based on fact or rumor.
Here's a perfect example: snopes.com: Quotes from Sarah Palin
I, like many on here I assume, am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.
I tend to lean conservative mainly because I don't prescribe to the idea of income redistribution. I believe in personal responsibility and that I can make wiser decisions about my healthcare and retirement than the government can.
As for Palin, like all the candidates, she has her pros and cons. She definitely did not perform well in the Couric or Gibson interviews - at the same time I lost a lot of respect for Gibson and his smug attitude and for Couric and her apparent desire to embarrass Palin. If the person you're interviewing doesn't answer a direct question when twice asked, what's the point of asking a third time?

Re: Sarah Palin
Do you think she waxes with purple wool foam or cross cut yello foam pads? I'll bet she likes Zaino.
