If I hadn't been sick, I would have been playing the debate drinking game . . .
Probably better that I wasn't. "Maverick" was a "drink" word, and alcohol poisoning doesn't look fun.

Re: Obama or McCain?
Pick the lesser of two evils.
McCain gets our votes in this family.
I just can't see voting my firearms rights away and voting in a border-line Marxist / pure socialist.

Re: Obama or McCain?
The lawsuit over Obama was started by a lawyer sympathetic to Clinton. Here is one view of the birth certificate issue. In the end, if you are born here, you are born here. You do not ever lose that unless you revoke it as an adult. McCain was born in the Canal Zone. I think the same applies to anyone born to an illegal immigrant. If they move back to where they came from, the child born to an illegal can get US citizen if they want when they become an adult. It is called beachheading. How illegals can create legals....
Now, as we know about law and lawyers, politics can be involved in legal rulings but then we have the appeals, etc.

Considering the singing Supremes just affirmed your Constitutional "right to bear arms" on some level, this is a bit of a chicken little statement.
Personally, having been a city dweller my entire life, I'd like to see EVERY gun made illegal, heck even bows and arrows (because what yall are doing isn't really hunting), but I realize that is an entirely UNREALISTIC proposition in this country, however, I can't understand why even the lawful "hunter" or "home protector" thinks that automatic weapons should be legal or guns like AK47's and uzies (is that what they are even called???).
I mean... I don't see "Joe six pack" hunting bambi with an uzi, although I suppose it might be good to make swiss cheese out of all those "bad guys" hiding in the shadows.

This is not a political issue (even though it's becoming one) this is bad business 101. Just because this is an election year dosen't make every single issue this country goes through a political one. You want to blame someone??? Blame those actually responsible.. Not the political agenda's of those trying to get elected.

That is exactly correct. It's not the President's job to change individual bank policy.

Re: Obama or McCain?
There is a special that shows some of Obama's shady secret past and radical friends, acquaintences, and inspirations. It may be FOX news but the stuff is well researched and we have heard it before. You can go on Youtube to get the rest of the videos.
Obama was the 2nd highest receiver of Freddie Mac and Fannie May contributions/support in history and it was all Obama supporting Democrats who were the top receivers of Freddie and Fannie contributions. The economic problem9giving home loans and mortgages to low income people with bad credit) was proposed, originated and supported by mostly Democrats well before Bush got into office, something the media has ignored and Obama has somehow spun to again just blame Bush in the last 8 years. Research the start of this policy and who the originators were and its biggest supporters.

I'll give you two words why any of what you just posted doesn't get any traction: Keating Five. It's the pot calling the kettle....er...black.

Except for the fact that... "Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that Alan Cranston, Dennis DeConcini, and Donald Riegle had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings, with Cranston receiving a formal reprimand. Senators John Glenn and John McCain were cleared of having acted improperly."
Try again, that mud didn't stick.
