Holograms

I am new at this and i tried to polish my car with a pc and poorboys 2.5 using a 3m cutting and finishing pad.



I got holograms in a few places, what am i doing wrong....how would i fix this?
 
were you using the 2.5 with the finishing pad too? i'm not experienced with a rotary but 2.5 is kind of aggressive.. try stepping down to ssr1 with a polishing pad, then hit it with ssr1 and a finishing pad if you think you need it.. i have a pc7336 and i dont get hologramming or anything with ssr 1/polish pad.
 
i think it may have also been my speed, i was doing some reading and everyone seems to use there rotary at 1500 or less well i had it on 3 and i was applying pressure...i guess that didnt help...i did find the 2.5 a little aggresive.

I'd just follow up with a (D/A style) PC and not worry about it. Most everybody gets holograms now and then, especially with products that aggressive.
