On the back of my 476S container it reads "Excellent for use on fine furniture, wood paneling, etc."

Re: Collinite quest / which is more durable

If you have a harbor freight store near you, I would check there. It had both Collinite 845IW and 476S on sale there. I think the 845 was $12 and the 476 was $14.

And they *do* have a Harbor Freight by me... do *you* have one up there in Logan yet, Greg? Let me know if you need me to pick you up anything.

Can't help you with that unless you call to order it:

Phone:

Do you have any Harbor Freights near you? Some of them carry Collinite 476 & 885 although I don't recall seeing any at the one here in Lexington.

Hit up eshine.ca if you are in Canada, great prices/service, and free shipping over 150 bucks (which is all to easy too blow past, trust me ).

I love Collonite's waxes, great products for the price. 2 coats of 476 lasted 5 months with a two bucket wash once a week up here in Winterpeg, and I thought that was bloody impressive. It was still going when the car it was on got written off, although I should mention the lower door parts failed earlier, but nothing a touch up of PB QW+ couldn't alleviate.

845IW is easier to apply and mimics 476s performance in my experience, perhaps with a little less durability. Great on lights and metallics though. These will be in my stable for a long time.

Anyone else notice that every one of those cars on the coffee table is swirl-free?

Nice kids, Steck. Enjoyed the pics.

Re: Collinite quest / which is more durable

I have both 476s and 845. I use 476s more frequently. The only reason I don't use the 845 is because its difficult to get the product out of the bottle!
