Question What is the verdict? LC CCS pads or good ole' flat LCs?

I would like to know your opinion on the flat LCs vs CCS LCs.

The batch of CCS pads I first bought were through Proper Auto Care... the ones with the blue foam behind the pad supposibly to help "stabilize" the pad on edges/slopes. IMO their system is a joke and is a way to sell less good LC foam for the same price... IMO it causes the pads to fatigue due to having a technically thinner pad.

Anyways... I think the pads from Proper Auto Care have ruined my CCS experience. I find it more effective to use the good ole' flat LCs instead of the Proper Auto Care CCS pads.

My question is... I do get good results from my flat pads, should I go with a new set of flats? Or should I give CCS pads another try except this time buy the good CCS pads that arent made with the gimick blue foam like my first set of CCS pads?

Thank you in advance!

Although I have limited experience with the CCS pads, I just didnt buy into the dimple engineering. I didnt notice any real difference truthfully.
I will stick with using the good ol flatty's.

i have tried both, most of my pads are LC CCS style... and i do notice a difference, i have also found a technique to get the pad to "release" the product that is kept in the dimples... i think both styles have their uses...

Care to share what the differences are that you have seen? What is your technique to get the pads to release?

FWIW I use them with my Hitachi rotary... not a PC.

Thanks.....

I got rid of almost all of my rotary flat pads and will be getting rid of the rest of the flat pads soon. CCS all the way for me.

To release more polish, stop the machine and press it onto the surface. The bottoms of the pockets touch the surface and release more polish. Continue polishing.

They take a little getting used to but I love the CCS pads. I want to order about 10 more from Danase but I just dont have the money right now.

Only thing I noticed was I have 3 orange CCS pads I bought from Danase and after 3 details the middles are worn out. I expected a bit longer life out of them.
